Keith Tan

Partner

Keith Tan is Chairman of the Dymon Asia Private Equity Investment Committee and a founding partner of Dymon Asia Capital.

Keith’s focus in Dymon is predominantly in Private Equity, where he has led a number of high-performing investments.

Prior to Dymon, he was a Director at Abax Global Capital, a hedge fund based in Hong Kong, where he originated, structured and executed investment transactions across Asia for Abax’s special situations funds.  During his career, Keith was also a member of the Executive Committee of Standard Chartered Bank (China) and Branch Manager of Standard Chartered Bank’s Shanghai Branch.

Keith is presently a serving Council Member in the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Keith graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Banking and Finance) with Honors from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.

Gerald Chiu

Partner

Gerald Chiu is a founding partner of Dymon Asia Private Equity.

Gerald has investment experience across a wide range of industries and has led a number of award-winning, landmark deals in the SME space.

Gerald was previously a Partner at Navis Capital Partners, where he focused on control buyout private equity investments in the Asia-Pacific. During his career, Gerald also gained experience at Temasek Holdings, and at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, after returning from a Singapore Public Service Commission scholarship.

Gerald graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with First Class Honors and a Master of Engineering with Distinction from St. John's College, University of Cambridge.

Chow Yin Tan

Partner

Chow Yin Tan joined Dymon Asia Private Equity in 2016 as a Partner.

Chow Yin has deep and broad investment experience across a wide spectrum of sectors including manufacturing, agro-food, consumer products and retail, education, F&B services, aged care, capital equipment and entertainment.

Chow Yin was previously a Senior Partner at Navis Capital, where he focused on making and realizing investments in Southeast Asia and China. Prior to Navis, Chow Yin was a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, where he last held the position of Principal.

Chow Yin graduated with a Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering with First Class Honors from Imperial College London. Chow Yin is also a CFA charterholder.

Gabriel Ho

Managing Director

Gabriel Ho is a Managing Director at Dymon Asia Private Equity and has been with Dymon since the fund’s inception.

Gabriel is based in the Singapore office. At Dymon, Gabriel has led both majority and minority private equity investments, from entry to exit.

Prior to Dymon, Gabriel Ho was previously at Baring Private Equity Asia in Singapore. Gabriel also gained experience at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong and at International Enterprise Singapore, after returning from a Singapore Government overseas scholarship.

Gabriel graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Chicago (with Phi Beta Kappa Honors), and obtained a Master's degree from Harvard University, and is a CFA charterholder.

Mark Balakrishnan

Associate Director

Mark Balakrishnan is an Associate Director at Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Singapore.

Mark was previously a Manager at PwC Corporate Finance in Singapore.

Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance (First Class Honours) from Warwick Business School. Mark is also a CFA charterholder.

Anisa Keeratiworanan

Associate Director

Anisa Keeratiworanan is an Associate Director of Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Bangkok.

Anisa was previously an Associate at McKinsey & Company, where she developed expertise in the strategy and operations of firms in the consumer-retail sector. She also gained experience at Lombard Investments, where she conducted due diligence on potential portfolio companies, made private equity investments for both majority and minority stakes, and managed successful exits.

Anisa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University and obtained her MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Kher Huan Lee

Director, Legal

Kher Huan Lee is a Director of Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Kuala Lumpur, where she focuses on legal and compliance functions.

Kher Huan was previously a Senior Legal & Regulatory Counsel at Navis Capital Partners. She also spent several years in private practice at SKRINE and Christopher & Lee Ong in Kuala Lumpur.

Kher Huan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Second Upper Class Honours, from the University of Reading, and was called to the Malaysian Bar in August 2008.

Aaron Lim

Associate Director, Portfolio Management

Aaron is an Associate Director of Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Singapore. Aaron’s main focus is in portfolio company management.

Prior to Dymon, Aaron was Group Treasurer at the RCMA Group in Singapore, where he focused on debt structuring and trade finance, consolidating the group’s financing structure and setting up their centralised Treasury function in Singapore. Aaron also gained experience at PSA International in Singapore, after returning from a PSA overseas scholarship.

Aaron graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Economics and Psychology, and minoring in Business Institutions from Northwestern University, and obtained a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He is also a CFA charterholder, certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and CAIA charterholder.

Shao Ming Thein

Director

Shao Ming Thein is a Director at Dymon Asia Private Equity and has been with Dymon since the fund’s inception. Shao Ming is based in Singapore.

Shao Ming was previously an Investment Director at CVC Capital Partners in Singapore, where he focused on both majority and minority private equity investments in South-East Asia.

Shao Ming also gained experience at Morgan Stanley, the Blackstone Group and Surbana Investments, a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings in Singapore.

Shao Ming graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Imperial College London with First Class Honors, and a Master of Philosophy in Management Studies from Queen's College, University of Cambridge.

Benjamin Ong

Director

Benjamin Ong is a Director at Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Singapore.

Ben was previously an Associate in ANZ Bank, Singapore. Prior to joining ANZ, he had also worked with Chanin Capital Partners/Duff and Phelps and CIBC World Markets in Los Angeles.

Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California.

Si Keat Ong

Associate

Si Keat is an Associate at Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Si Keat was previously an Assistant Manager for Kumpulan Modal Perdana (“KMP”), where he focused on venture capital and growth equity investments in Malaysia. Prior to joining KMP, he was an Analyst in the investment advisory and fund management arm of Capital Dynamics Group in Malaysia.

Si Keat graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from Monash University, majoring in Mechatronics. Si Keat is also a CFA charterholder.

Michael Ong

Director, Digital Innovation

Michael Ong is a Digital Innovation Director at Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Michael was previously the Head of IBM iX Digital Practice Lead, which helped provide strategic business and digital transformation to clients such as Petronas and Celcom.He also has experience in leading regional e-commerce, social media and digital media initiatives from his time at Mediacom, Citibank and Dell.

Michael graduated from University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Economics.

Addeno Rasyid

Associate Director

Addeno Rasyid is an Associate Director of Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Addeno was previously a Manager for Ekuiti Nasional Berhad. Addeno was also an Associate at Khazanah Nasional Berhad. Prior to that, he was with Foster Wheeler Energy Limited,UK as a Graduate Civil Engineer.

Addeno graduated with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London.

Fenny Tan

Associate Director

Fenny Tan is an Associate Director of Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Singapore.

Fenny was previously an Associate for the Resources & Energy Group, Global Banking at HSBC, Hong Kong. Prior to joining HSBC she was an Analyst with Royal Bank of Scotland, Hong Kong.

Fenny graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Management (Finance), from Singapore Management University with Magna cum Laude, Dean’s Honors List.

Fenny also sits on the committee of the Career Women’s Group of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CWG SCCCI).

Qian Lu Chai

Legal Associate

Qian Lu Chai is a Legal Associate at Dymon Asia Private Equity based in Kuala Lumpur, where she focuses on legal and compliance functions.

Qian Lu was previously an associate at Rahmat Lim & Partners. She also spent several years in private practice at Gan Partnership and Raja, Darryl & Loh in Kuala Lumpur.

Qian Lu graduated with a Bachelor of Law Degree with Honours from University of Manchester in 2014 and was called to the English Bar as an Utter Barrister in 2015.  Thereafter, Qian Lu was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2017.

Weichao Zhou

Associate

Weichao is an Associate of Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Singapore.

Weichao was previously an Associate at L.E.K. Consulting in London, before relocating to the L.E.K. Consulting office in Shanghai. At L.E.K Consulting, Weichao focused on corporate strategy engagements for major corporations and commercial due diligence for private equity clients.

Weichao graduated with a Masters in Science (Physics) from University College London with First Class Honours.
