Choon is a Director at Dymon Asia Private Equity, based in Kuala Lumpur and has been with DAPE since 2022.

Prior to joining DAPE, he previously served as the Global Senior Director of Operational Excellence in Expedia Group where he focused on driving large-scale transformation programmes across both operational excellence and commercial excellence for the group. Throughout his career, Choon held various roles across Southeast Asia at firms such as McKinsey & Company, Deloitte Consulting, Accenture Consulting, and British American Tobacco Malaysia, focusing on transformation programmes for clients in the semiconductor, oil & gas (upstream and downstream), logistics and consumer goods sectors.

Choon holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Biotechnology and Chemistry from California State University Pomona. He also holds a Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology. He is a certified practitioner across a variety of disciplines, ranging from Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt, Certified Post Merger Integration (CPMI) Expert by IMAA, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certified Planning & Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS, Project Management Professional, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) in Agile.
