Shannon was previously a Senior Associate at Rahmat Lim & Partners where she spent several years in private practice.

Shannon graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours from Cardiff University in 2018. She was called to the English Bar in 2019, and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2021.
